Terms of Service

By creating an account or using WeMails ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you may bind it.

1. The Service

WeMails migrates, backs up and restores email between mailboxes you control or are authorized to access. You are responsible for having the right to access every source and destination account you enter.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials and 2FA secret safe.
  • Only connect mailboxes you own or are authorized to migrate/back up.
  • Keep your backup passphrase — we cannot recover it, and without it your backups cannot be restored.
  • Do not use the Service to break laws, infringe rights, or access accounts without authorization.

3. Plans, quotas & billing

  • The free plan includes a usage quota (data and message count). Paid plans increase limits and parallelism.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Taxes may apply.
  • We may change pricing with prior notice; changes don't affect a period already paid.

4. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, overload our infrastructure, use it to send spam, or connect systems you're not authorized to. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or put other customers at risk.

5. Data & privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: mailbox passwords are encrypted and discarded after each job, backups are encrypted with your passphrase, and we never sell or read your email.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Migration speed depends on the source and destination servers (connection and IOPS limits are outside our control).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeMails is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for data loss on third-party mail servers. Always keep an independent copy of critical data. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months.

8. Termination

You may cancel anytime. On account deletion we remove your data, including backups. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

10. Governing law & contact
